The architect came to us with a previously engineered structural design that contained three lines of welded steel frames embedded in massive concrete grade beams. Pivot redesigned the structure to eliminate the welded frames in favor of lighter, less expensive premanufactured braced frames that reduced the shoring requirements as well.
