Structural engineering has provided me with many moments of innovations, creativity, challenges and fulfillment. I have been fortunate to meet very fine and wonderful design professionals and clients. Furthermore, I have greatly appreciated the advice and suggestions from many talented construction professionals.
Ricardo has over 20 years of professional structural engineering experience in building, municipal facility, and bridge design projects. He has worked extensively in timber, steel, concrete and masonry design on various buildings and structures both new and existing. He specializes in residential, commercial, institutional and retaining wall design. He has provided structural assessments and evaluations, seismic and soft-story rehabilitations, and construction administration services.
In his spare time, Ricardo enjoys traveling, camping, and cooking. He also enjoys working on Do-It-Yourself home projects and playing tennis with his wife and daughter.
