Here, the architect wished to create a very thin – 2½” thick – wood awning to cantilever 7’ over the entry. To achieve this, we recommended 2” PSLs that were then figured into a tongue and groove.

Marine grade plywood was glued over top of this T&G construction to strengthen it further.
